Kodak announces Z740 and Z700 digital cameras at CES

Kodak has announced two new cameras to replace the DX7590 and DX6490. The new cameras, entitled the Z740 and Z700.

The 5megapixel Z740 will come with a 10x optical zoom, while the 4 mega pixel Z700 will offer a 5x optical zoom.

Both models will be available as bundled options with the new EASYSHARE Printer Dock Series 3, which is capable of producing borderless KODAK 4 x 6-inch pictures in as little as 90 seconds with just one touch.

The EASYSHARE Digital Photo Solution with Z740 zoom digital camera will be available worldwide beginning in February 2005, with a suggested retail price of £279.99.

The EASYSHARE Digital Photo Solution with Z700 zoom digital camera will be available beginning next month for £179.99 (RRP). The EasyShare Z740 and Z700 will also be available with the Printer Dock Series 3 at a RRP of £359.99 and £259.99 respectively.
