Broadband ISP Be trebles access for UK

Be has unveiled plans to almost treble the amount of unbundled exchanges it will be available from.

Birmingham and Manchester will be the first two cities outside of London to benefit from Be's expansion, with both predicted to go live next month.

To make the ordering process as simple as possible, Be have added advance ordering for any exchanges that are expected to be activated within the next few months.

Up until now potential members have had to keep track of availability by testing their BT number on the website. Be will automatically process their order the moment the exchange is activated.

The company has also launched a ‘Home email' package in response to member feedback. Costing £2 per month members will have up to five individual email accounts with a total storage of 1 GB and 100MB of webspace.
