The world’s most expensive Xbox 360?

Autographed console being sold for charity

Those decent folks over at Microsoft Australia have set up a campaign called "Konsoles for Kids" in order to raise money for a charity, the Make-A-Wish foundation. What’s the idea? Well, they get some Xboxs, get some celebs to sign them and then flog them to the highest bidder on ebay. Nice.

So far the campaign has raised over AUS $20,000 (£8000) with celebrities like include Peter Jackson, Russell Crowe and Andrew Johns involved but it is reckoned that that sum will be multiplied by the latest console to go under the hammer … just take a look!

Up for bid is a one-of-a-kind Halo 3 console, signed by the team at Bungie, which also includes a copy of Crackdown for good measure. So far bidding has reached the AUS $2000 (£800) mark and is set to rise a whole lot further.

If you want to bid for the console then follow the ebay link below.
