GAME refuses to sell Oblivion for PS3

Gamers forced to go elsewhere

Video game retailer GAME won't be stocking Ubisoft's latest PS3 title due to a spat between the two companies.

According to our sistersite Gamesdog.co.uk retailer, GAME has said that it won’t be stocking The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for the PS3 in its 400 shops across the UK and Ireland.

The game, developed by Bethesda, has been popular on the Xbox 360 and PC, so it follows that demand would be high for the PS3 but most oddly, neither Ubisoft nor GAME have commented on why the situation has come about.

We shall, however, endeavour to bring you the latest on this strange situation when we have it.
