Salomon steps up a gear with three new adventure shoes
Salomon has launched it 2006 series of adventure trainers with three new models geared at letting you run faster; the Trail Pro SCS, the Speed Cross and the XA Pro 3Ds.
The Trail Pro SCS is a lightweight trail running shoe that features Salomon's Cushioning System, which according to the manufacturer reduces heel strike impact whilst controlling pronation.
The Speed Cross model is Salomon's cross country shoe, a light but protective shoe, the company seems to have focused on the grip tread pattern. Salomon believe it will offer ideal traction in mud and on unstable terrain.
Finally the company has launched the XA Pro 3D, follow on from the XA Pro, the new show adds XCR membrane for use in wet conditions, and an advanced 3D chassis for better support.
The Trail Pro SCS will cost £75, the Speed Cross £65 and the XA Pro 3D £75 and £85 with the XCR membrane.
All shoes will be available in February 2006.
