Optimus Maximus keyboard given a rough date for release

Rumours are surfacing on the web that uber keyboard, the Optimus Maximus, will finally be available later this year priced at a whopping $1564.

The keyboard, which is designed for gamers, typographers and translators, as well as graphics professionals has OLED keys that change depending on the application you are running has been in development for a while and even has its own Wikipedia page.

Pocket-lint has found out that it should be in mass production for the first 200 sets at the end of November 2007.

The production number will increase to 400 a month in January according to our insider
