Goodmans has introduced a sporty looking portable DAB/FM Radio and MP3 Player with a 1GB memory.

The GMP31G7DAB is designed like any personal MP3 player but with the rare added ability to listen to DAB Radio. Its 1GB of memory will allow for around 240 tracks, and with it you can record straight from DAB, converting directly to MP3 at 192kbps.

The player can handle 40 hours playback for MP3 decreasing to 10 hours playback with DAB, it uses due to a built-in long life Li-ion battery.

The device uses a One Touch DAB station scan‚ to explore stations alphabetically and they can be saved to one of the 10 station presets.

The Goodmans stereo also features a voice recorder that is advised works like a Dictaphone, and a backlit two line LCD display, with a graphical user interface. It uses a high-speed USB2 port for file transfer.

It's available now for a very reasonable £69.99, however it doesn't look like its memory capacity can be extended.
