Smirnoff launch booze fuelled photography competition

Chance to show off your drink induced snaps

27 April 2007 8:29 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Thinking that cameras and plenty of vodka go together, Smirnoff has launched a photography competition entitled "Rare Character" to promote its Smirnoff Black vodka label.

The basic rules are that you've got to find a "Rare Character" and take a picture of it and upload the shot to our online gallery.

Likely to be filled with poor camera shots from a Saturday night on the sauce, the company is giving away bottles of vodka each week allowing you to get more fuel to find yet another "Rare Character".

Running for 8 weeks from this week, Smirnoff says there is also a grand prize of £5000 to be won for the best picture overall.
