Epson has today announced the Stylus DX3800 Series and DX4800 Series, all-in-one devices for the home or small office.
Both models include four individual ink cartridges so you only need to replace the cartridge you have used. The new models also Epson's unique new ink - DURABrite Ultra, that promises long lasting images.
The Stylus DX4800 Series includes memory card slots and PictBridge compatibility, while the Stylus DX3800 Series is a cost effective all-in-one solution for the home user with lower volume printing requirements.
The Epson Stylus DX4800 Series and DX3800 Series both print at a resolution of up to 5760 optimised dpi. The print quality is enhanced due to Epson's Micro Piezo print head technology, allowing the printer to control the size of the printed dot down to 3pl (DX4800 Series). Borderless photos can be printed and copied up to A4 size.
The DX4800 is capable of print speed of up to 20ppm and scans and copies at 1200dpi and will cost £99.
The DX3800 is capable of print speed of up to 18ppm and scans and copies at 600 dpi and will cost £69
Additionally Epson has also strengthened its entry-level printer range with the announcement today of the Epson Stylus Photo R220.
The printer uses six separate ink cartridges, you only need to replace the ink that you have used.
The new model will print photographs up to A4 at a resolution of up to 5760x1440 dpi.
