Photobox heading to a living room near you

Photobox has launched a TV compatible photo sharing and print ordering service in the UK. The service, which is part of Online Spotlight, the internet access section of Microsoft's Windows XP Media Center Edition means that at the touch of a few buttons on a remote users will have access to PhotoBox albums as well as ordering prints and gifts of digital photographs.

Graham Hobson, CEO of PhotoBox Limited said, "With the inclusion of PhotoBox in Online Spotlight, viewers can now sit back and enjoy photo albums on the television. Presenting the site on a TV meant we needed to build a new PhotoBox site. This site, within Windows XP Media Centre 2005, gives users the convenience of web browsing from the comfort of their sofa, using a single remote control instead of a full keyboard and mouse. Media Center users will enjoy browsing their online photo albums, and the easy print and gift ordering".

PhotoBox customers can order photographic prints in wide range of sizes up to 30"x20" posters. A wide range of gifts including greeting cards, mugs and calendars featuring the customers own digital images are also available.

Standard sized prints ordered before 4pm Monday-Friday are sent same day by first class post. Each customer is given unlimited space for photo printing and free space for photo sharing. PhotoBox also offers a number of mobile features for customers on the go including a FREE send-to-mobile photo service.
