Fujitsu unveils its e-paper printer
Fujitsu's console to put in its film paper in, the FLEPia

20 April 2007 15:23 GMT / By Ryan Haynes
Fujitsu announced 2 years ago that it had come up with the world's first film substrate-based bendable colour electronic paper featuring image memory function.
The FLEPia is what the paper goes in, and is available now in two sizes, A4 (480 grams) and A5 (320 grams) and both are just 12mm thick.
It's easy to operate—put a 4GB memory card in the SD slot, and the content downloads quickly due to its high-speed wireless LAN connection.
There are six function buttons and a scroll key and, once charged, the battery can last 50 hours. The FLEPia comes in white pearl, silver and pink pearl.
It comes at a bargain price of $12,685, the larger model is $21,137.
