Rockstar has announced that it will be bringing the GTA series to the PSP when it launches in the UK in March.
The news announced today from the Leeds based games company will be a huge boost to Sony and its Portable PlayStation handheld device.
The company also hopes to bring Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition to the handheld at the same time.
The new Grand Theft Auto title, which will be set in Liberty City, are being developed by Rockstar Leeds in conjunction with Rockstar San Diego and Rockstar North, respectively. Both titles are expected to be available near the launch of the PSP handheld system in North America and Europe.
It isn't a surprise that Rockstar has opted to support the format. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas was the biggest game on Sony's PlayStation 2 console in 2004.
