Microsoft has finally announced that it will start shipping it's Portable Media Center addition which will allow players like the Creative Zen to go on sale in the coming weeks.
Creative are kicking off the planned mass of machines due to the market from manufacturers such as iriver and Samsung. The Creative Zen will cost £369.99 in the UK and will offer a 20Gb Hard drive to store, music, images and videos on.

Microsoft has also announced today that its updated media player - Windows Media Player 10 is available for download in the US and France. The program which is still available to download in Beta stage has a new design, and greater integration for device support like the Media Centre machines and will offer a choice of online stores in the Digital Media Mall.
