Mobiles fashioned the integration of multimedia devices, now it looks like digital cameras are going to take a similar leap. DXG USA has announced its new ultra-pocket digi-cam with a difference.The DXG-589V features a 5MP camera with a camcorder. Plus, incorporated is the technology for gaming, similar to the Fuji. The camera uses a flip screen for photography, filming and in a similar style to a Game Boy.
The small device also hosts a VGA camcorder, digital music player, and direct video recording from TVs or DVD players. It records full-motion MPEG4 video at 640 x 480 at 30 frames per second and digital still JPEG images up to 10 Megapixels (with interpolation). Video files can be saved onto SD cards.
It comes with a video game toggle dial, that claims allows users to play 20 built-in full-colour 2D or 3D video games the way they are used to playing them. As an addition it can also acts a digital voice recorder.
