Kodak has announced three new cameras and an update to its Printer Dock series. The Easyshare CX7530 camera is a 5-mega pixel model that features a 3X optical zoom lens the Kodak share button. The camera will be available from the beginning of July 2004 at a suggested retail price of just £249.99.
The Easyshare CX7330 camera is a 3-mega pixel variant with 3X optical zoom lens, and will be available in June 2004 for £149.99.
Kodak has also unveiled the Easyshare DX7440. Offering 4-mega pixels, a 4X optical zoom lens (33 - 132 mm equivalent), and a rapid 0.2-second click-to-capture rating, the DX7440 camera will be available in June 2004 for a suggested retail price of £299.99.
Along side the printers Kodak will also be launching an update to the Printer Dock that features PictBridge and multi-function connector for the Easyshare 600/6000 and 700/7000 series of digital cameras. Users will also be able to connect an optional external memory card reader.
As before the printer will be able to only print 6x4-inch images. A 40-count refill pack will cost £19.99RRP and include color cartridges and a matching quantity of thermal photo paper, so users don't have to worry about running out of supplies in the middle of a project.
However the printer dock has still to add portable battery power similar to the Canon range of portable printers. The Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock will be available worldwide beginning this June for just £149.99
