Pioneer extends its DVD recorder line up with the DVR-220 and DVR-320

Pioneer has extended its DVD recorder line up with two new additions; the DVR-220 and DVR-320. Both models are ultra-slim and feature technology that allow users to watch from the beginning of a recording while the programme is still being recorded.

Both players also feature a Disc History function that stores information including the amount of free space on the last 30 discs that has been used so you can easily find space on a disc before you use it for recording a programme.

For the camcorder user, users can view and edit their own camcorder footage with the DVR-320. DVD content can be transferred digitally from the camcorder to the DVR-320 and vice versa via the DV (i.LINK) input/output interface

The DVR-220 and DVR-320 will be available from June 2004. Pioneer has yet to confirm a price for both players.
