Pocket-lint writer up for 4 BT IT Security Journalism Awards

Congrats to Davey Winder

Pocket-lint writer Davey Winder has been nominated in four of the six categories in the BT IT Security Journalism Awards.

Now in its second year, the BT annual awards event seeks to recognise the quality of security journalism in the UK whilst acknowledging the importance of IT security to British businesses.

The winners will be announced at an awards event to be held at a central London venue on 12th June 2007. The winner of each category will be awarded a £500 prize, except for the journalist who wins the coveted title of "IT security journalist of the year", who will receive £2000.

The short-list for each category is as follows (in alphabetical order):

1. IT security journalist of the year
