If you think getting a 7 year warranty on your new car is great, wait till you hear how long a warranty D-Link is offering on its wireless N products.

Announced today, the company has said that anyone who buys one of its new wireless N products will get a whopping 11 years warranty.

The move, which also includes products already bought means your hardware will be guaranteed until 2018.

"We have every confidence in the high quality of our Wireless N products and believe that extraordinary products deserve to be combined with extraordinary service levels. Increasing our warranty terms and conditions from two to eleven years accentuates the confidence we have in our products and translates it into a direct benefit for our customers", explains Kevin Wen, President of D-Link Europe.

The Wireless N product range by D-Link is a complete portfolio of products, currently featuring the new high performance Gigabit Router (DIR-655), Fast Ethernet Router (DIR-635), an ADSL2+ Router (DSL-2740B), an Access Point (DAP-1353), Desktop and Notebook Adapters (DWA-547, DWA-645), a USB Mini Adapter (DWA-140), as well as several bundle kits.
