Monitors get even bigger

22 March 2007 12:04 GMT / By Stuart Miles

LG has entered the realms of Dell and Apple with the announcement today of the launch of its first 24-inch widescreen LCD monitor in the UK, the L245WP.

Gone are the days of the poxy 14-inch box in the corner, the screen, which has been designed for business and home users wanting just that little more screen space, will be available from next month.

HD-Ready, the screen offers HDMI, USB, component connections and a pivot function so you can easily show colleagues what's on your monitor.

Other specifications of the L245WP include a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time and a 178 degree viewing angle with Anti-Glare.
