Samsung has announced a new 19-inch LCD monitor called, the SyncMaster 940UX, which can be connected with monitors using only USB port.

The new monitor is designed for users wanting more than one screen but without the hassle of adding another graphics card.

Samsung say "that the new concept monitor makes multi-display significantly easier as it can be expanded to six monitors using only USB port".

The new monitor which features DVI, USB2, D-sub input ports, has an embedded driver software that automatically installs a driver into a user’s PC when the monitor and PC are connected.

"The drivers eliminate users inconveniences such as additional graphic card purchases and separate driver downloads and installations", Samsung said in a statement.

The company has also announced two LCD monitors (SyncMaster 961BG/961GW), and a 30 inch LCD monitor (SyncMaster XL30) that incorporates an LED (Light Emitting Diode) back light.
