Miglia TVMax+ content booster for any iPod or Apple TV announced

Miglia Technology has announced the launch of the TVMax+, a system decribed as a "fabulous content booster for any iPod or Apple TV".

The new bolt-on device is built to stack with a Mac mini, AirPort Extreme or Apple TV and promises to become the heart of your home entertainment by connecting to a range of devices and enjoy your shows on the go.

The device, which also happens to be a TV tuner will allow you to watch, pause and record all of your favourite shows to watch exactly as you want to while connection options include coaxial, Composite S-Video inputs.

The system's features include: real-time MPEG4 capture; the capacity to record and export content automatically to iPod Good, iPod Best, Apple TV, DVD ready, Full size (MPEG4) DIVX Portable, and DIVX Home Theater formats.

The Mac-only system will cost £149 when it launches later this year.
