Google has confirmed that it is working on a mobile phone however hasn’t given any more details as yet to when it will be released.The rumour, which has been floating around the ether for sometime, was confirmed to Spanish newspaper Noticias by Google Spain chief Isabel Aguilera.
She told the paper that the company was working on the phone, along other projects, as a means of gaining access to information while on the move.
"If Google where to release a mobile phone it would be able to serve even more adverts to a mobile audience", a telecoms insider told us. "Just thing of the extra revenue it could earn. Heck, it could even offer a business model based on viewing adverts in exchange for air time."
