Sagem has announced the SAGEM my401C designed for people who see their wait for it "mobile more as a reflection of their personality than a piece of empowering technology".
The new phone offers fairly entry level specs including a 128 x 160-pixel, 65K-colour interior screen that features white-on-black text, a VGA camera (x4 digital zoom) and music player for multimedia, SMS and MMS for sharing, Tri-band, Bluetooth and SyncMLTM for connectivity and network access, WAP 2.0 to stay informed and Java for just plain fun.
The 1.5 Mb of internal memory can luckily be extended with a microSD card and battery life performance is promised at 250 hours on standby and 3.30 hours talk-time.
The SAGEM my401C will be available from April on T-Mobile and Vodafone at a price band of £49.99.
