Pocket-lint launches Talk section

More than just comments

12 March 2007 11:33 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Today, we've gone from being a site that just gives you information to a site that allows you to participate.

Talk on Pocket-lint has been set up to give you a chance to have your say about the latest gadget news, your experience with gadgets, pose questions to other members of the site and much more.

If there's something you'd like to talk about, go right ahead. Just pick the right board, whether its Photography or Phones, hit the "new thread" button and start typing.

Don't get us wrong, Comments on websites are great, but our Talk boards aims to give you much, much more.

Start your own stories, upload images and YouTube videos, chat with other members, it's like we've launched a whole new site.

We always like to see new posters on the boards so why not say hi first? Just hit "new thread" on the Introduce yourself! board and share as much or as little as you like. You can also update your board profile by logging in (top left above the logo) and clicking on the Profiles heading.

If you want to find out a bit more about who your talking to, or who has posted an interesting post all you have to do is click on the name at the bottom of the post. You'll then get information about what they've posted on in the past and maybe even a picture of them.

Every news story and review we post will automatically get its own thread so you can comment on the story. But that doesn't mean that's it. You can create a new thread whenever you want.

So what are you waiting for. Why not start posting right now!
