Star Wars and the US Post Service are hoping to give letters the power of The Force in America.

To help 20 Century Fox to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars, the US Post Service is wheeling out post boxes decorated to look like the friendly robot R2-D2.

Likely to be stolen in seconds by hardcore fans across the country, TheForce.net, a Star Wars fan site, managed to snap them all stacked up and ready to deploy.

Of course these aren't coming to the UK, it would likely confuse Postman Pat too much.
