Monitors with the world's highest contrast ratio are coming to the UK.

LG has announced that its 3000:1 DFC display will be launched in the first three months of 2007 in Britain.

Its 3000:1 contrast ratio will appeal to imaging professionals and designers as it's able to deliver crisper moving images and more tonal differentiation.

Perfect black is also displayed, and distortion is minimised.

The first set of monitors to have 3000:1 will be an updated 60 series as well as upcoming Vista widescreen monitors.

Expect to pay top whack when these are released.
