Firebox has added a strange-looking little alarm clock/iPod hybrid to its website.

The Retro iPod Alarm Clock looks like an old-fashioned, yet pink-toned alarm with two bells at the top.

However the two bells are cunningly disguised 360º 3W omni speakers, so that it blasts your tunes at your rather than ringing.

The necessary snooze function is present, as is a large chrome nob for adjusting volume. The whole thing is powered with a mains charger so that it juices up your iPod when it's docked.

It will be available soon for £40 from Firebox.com.
