RICOH Caplio R6 launched

Thin and sporting a 7x optical zoom

Ricoh launched what it is calling the World’s thinnest digital camera with a 28mm Wide-Angle 7.1x Optical Zoom Lens.

The Ricoh R6 builds on the company’s Caplio R5 and features vibration correction that promises to eliminate the shake from hand movement, which is the main cause
of blurred images.

The Caplio R6 also incorporates advancements over its predecessor with new features such as a slim body 20.6mm at its thinnest point (26 mm for the Caplio R5) and a face recognition mode that automatically recognises the subject’s face or faces and records the image at the optimal settings.
