The most powerful diesel SUV on the market will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
The 335bhp Audi Q7 has a 4.2-litre V8 TDI, capable of hitting 62mph in just 6.4 seconds and with a top speed of 146mph. Power is transmitted through a six-speed tiptronic gearbox and a sport-tuned quattro 4x4 driveline. Adaptive air suspension is standard, delivering a bolt load of performance without compromising the ride.
An electric tailgate, 18in rims and lane assist system, which emits a pulse to inform the driver before he inadvertently crosses a line on the carriageway, are also standard. In the cabin, you’ll get leather upholstery, electrically heated seats, cruise control and a multifunction steering wheel.
The new Audi Q7 4.2 TDI will be available to order in April, and first deliveries are expected late in June.
