If the new laws regarding mobile phone usage in cars is particularly concerning you, maybe you should think about buying your next car in Spain.

Parrot and Ford have teamed up to install Bluetooth hands-free calling in the Fiesta, Fusion, Focus, and Focus C-Max models.

Developed in partnership with Sony-Ericsson, the technology also incorporates Parrot's audio signal processing.

The Ford Bluetooth Music car range is based around Parrot's MK6000, a Bluetooth car kit that integrates audio streaming functionality. It lets drivers listen to music stored on mobiles or other portable devices, as well as make hands-free calls, including answering, hanging up, navigating through phone menus, and turning the music on and off.

The MK6000 incorporates a double microphone system that eliminates more background noise, as well as text to speech functionality.

At the moment, the range is only available in Spain.
