An attempt to make science accessible

28 February 2007 0:00 GMT / By Ian Hughes

Today’s headlines are full of scientific scaremongering. Health food is bad for you; bird flu is here and will mutate eventually; cloned humans are only a matter of time, etc, etc.

Naturally, it's the media's job to peak the public's interest and let's face it, sensationalism sells and sales is what counts!

This site aims to set some of the records straight. They are a charitable trust who try to filter out the over-zealous claims of the red tops and make the science behind the headlines a little bit clearer.

We approve of and applaud their efforts.
