Hammacher Schlemmer, retailer of various mad and expensive gadgets, have listed an MP4 Video Watch on its site.

With a ship date of 26 March, the MP4 watch can display videos downloaded from a PC on its tiny 1.5-inch colour OLED screen.

It can do much more than just play video, however. It can also playback MP3 and WMA music files and supports Microsoft DRM 9.

As you would expect, it also display JPEG photos, and can be used as a digital watch.

If that weren't enough, it can also record voice memos and play them back, and features a five preset equaliser and super bass control.

It promises 3 hours of video playback, 8 hours of music playback, and a recharge time of only 1.5 hours.

For $150, it comes with 1GB of memory, as well as software to convert video and photo files to the right format, a USB cable, and earphones.

It will certainly provide you with a talking point if you wear it to a boring dinner party.
