Terratec launches Cinegry T2 freeview player

Powered by a USB2.0 connection users will be able to use it on the move without having to worry about additional power.

Terratec has launched a freeview digital TV dongle for the PC. The Cinergy T² will provide access to the 16 television channels currently broadcasting without the need to plug into a socket in the wall.

The Cinergy T² receives TV signals via the external antenna which features a magnetic foot that allows it to be positioned almost anywhere to receive the optimum signal.

Powered by a USB2.0 connection users will be able to use it on the move without having to worry about additional power.

The Cinergy T² is also equipped with a time-shifting function that lets users interrupt programs and resume viewing later at the same place. Bundled in the box is a remote control and the unit also supports the freeview electronic programme guide.


Also included in the box is Ulead MovieFactory 3, Cyberlink Power DVD 5.0. Terratec have yet to set a price for the Cinergy T2 in the UK however it will cost €99 in the rest of Europe.
