Freedom2surf Wi-Fi hotspot offering announced

Pay-as-you-go or monthly vouchers available

Freedom2surf the broadband ISP has announced the launch of Freedom2surf Hotspots, a new low-cost Wi-Fi network for business travellers, offering customers access to a network of over 1300 hotspots in the UK.

Freedom2surf Wi-Fi Hotspots is available with two pricing structures.

Customers will be able to choose to pay as you go or buy wifi vouchers.

F2S say that pay as you go will cost just 10p per minute and is available for immediate use.

Partly used pay as you go minutes are rounded up to the next full minute and are billed to your freedom2surf account monthly.

For more sustained use, there will be three options: 1 hour instant access for £4.50, 5 hours instant access for use over a weekly period at £15, and 20 hours instant access for use over a monthly period at £30.

However the company has fallen short of launching a combined broadband and roaming package.
