Fancy your son or daughter as the next Jenson Button or Michael Schumacher? Then Toys R Us might just have the answer - the Team 1 Racer.

The fully powered electric (so its environmentally friendly) car runs off a 6v battery and comes complete with a range of racing sounds.

Step on the accelerator and you will go through the gears like a real racer, take your foot off the accelerator and the car will make realistic braking sounds.

Able to achieve a top of approx 3.4mph it's not going to beat a Ferrari Enzo, but it does mean that its suitable for kids three and up.

Better still, they are now only half price (£149.99) until the end of April.
