While grated cheese, including parmesan and cheddar for sarnies, is one of the great joys of life, actually grating it can be a bit of a drag.

Get down to the stub and you can lose a fingernail; and then there's always the cleanup.

The Deni Healthy Cordless Cheese 4600 (that's what it's called) simplifies the arduous cheese grating chore by being battery operated.

You just stick a piece of cheese in to the top, and out it comes grated at the side, or if cheese isn't your thing, you can also use it for grating chocolate.

Available from Amazon for around $40.
