Following Virgin Media's announcement earlier this that it will be bringing HBO shows to its on-demand customers, BT has announced that it will be offering the same service via its BT Vision service as well.

As with Virgin Media's offering, customers will be able to get on-demand access to shows ranging from The Sopranos to Band of Brothers from May.

BT has also announced that it has signed a content deal with Universal Music. Universal Music videos will be available on an on demand basis through the BT Vision service from 29p per download, with premium concerts priced at £2.99 each.
