Plantronics today introduced the new Discovery 665 Bluetooth Headset with AudioIQ, the industry’s first DSP (digital signal processing) sound technology that according to Plantronics automatically optimises audio levels on both sides of every call.

The technology supposedly significantly increasing clarity for mobile phone callers, as well as for the listener on the other end of conversations.

The new Plantronics Discovery 665 Bluetooth headset with AudioIQ, based on the Plantronics Discovery 655, has been designed for those on the move and in the car.

In addition, the Discovery 665 includes Plantronics' new QuickPair technology that simplifies the Bluetooth setup process by automatically initiating the pairing mode when the headset is powered on for the first time.

The Plantronics Discovery 665 will cost around £85 when it goes on sale later this month.
