Maplin launches £125 Wi-Fi phone for Skype calls

Maplin Electronics has launched its offering to the mobile VoIP market with a new SMC Wi-Fi Internet Phone.

In - you guessed it - white, the phone lets you easily make calls via Skype without being attached to your PC.

It works through any open wireless connections, which mean you can take it with you to make free phone calls at airports, coffee shops, hotels, etc.
