PNY has launched a new graphics card, the GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB, the third card in its Verto range.

Compatible with DirectX10, it promises the best for gamers and those using graphics-hungry applications.

"Designed for Windows Vista and DirectX10, this new GeForce 8800 GTS is the perfect solution for people who want to experience the maximum benefits of Windows Vista and the latest games", explained Jonathan Filleau, PNY's manager for consumer graphics cards.

"The combination of DirectX10 to the lumenex Engine and the Nvidia Quantum effects will enable gamers to enjoy realistic effects and accuracy of characters like never before."

Included in the box for £180 is the driver CD, a DVI to VGA adaptor, and HDTV Break Out Box adapter, and Splinter Cell 4.

The PCI Express has a shader clock of 1200MHz, a core clock of 500MHz and effective memory frequency of 1.6GHz, for those who understand that sort of thing.
