Lionsgate comes to iTunes

150 more movies now available

US iTunes customers will soon have 150 new movie titles to choose from on the iTunes Store, as Apple has announced it's closed a deal with film studio Lionsgate.

This means that blockbusters like Terminator 3, Basic Instinct, and Dirty Dancing will soon be available to download, and brings Apple's total movie catalogue to around 400.

Other titles soon to be made available include Total Recall, Rambo, Monster's Ball, and Chaplin.

ITunes' catalogue of multimedia includes 4 million tunes, 350 different TV shows, and now over 400 film - it's already sold 1.3 million of them.

Movies cost around $10 for download, and are available with a resolution of 640 x 480.
