Humax has launched another 40-inch widescreen TV on to the market, this one an LCD model that also incorporates a PVR.

The "all-in-one" device has twin tuners and access to Freeview and radio channels. You can record direct on to its 160GB hard disk drive.

Because of the hard disk drive, you can pause live TV and rewind using timeslip, and access an eight-day Electronic Programme Guide.

Other features include PIP or split-screen viewing, an HDMI slot, as you would expect, a CI slot for upgrading to pay TV, and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.

Connectivity includes 3 AV inputs, as well as Component, S-Video, PC Composite, and scart inputs.

The Humax LP40-TDR1 costs around £1200.
