Aura concept phone builds on iPhone design

Designed for Asus

A new Asus prototype may just be the phone we're all waiting for - but don't hold your breath that it'll be released any time soon.

The concept, dubbed Aura, includes a generous 3.9-inch touch screen and a sliding d-pad bar with all of the navigation tools on it.

Its connectivity gives you anything you could want on a phone - HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth - and it also includes a microSD slot.

Measuring just 6mm thick, it still packs in a full keyboard that slides out of a slot along one of the edges.

It may be that this was drawn up as a response to the iPhone, to include features that many feel the iPhone should have had.
