Sony Ericsson unveils PC300 Mobile Broadband PC Card

Get connected anywhere

6 February 2007 17:35 GMT / By Amber Maitland

In addition to Sony Ericsson's new phones and accessories, the company also released a new PC Card that lets you connect to the internet whenever, wherever.

The PC300 Mobile Broadband PC Card connects to HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, and GPRS, so that you'll be able to connect anywhere in the world - provided you have a PC card slot in your notebook, which many don't have anymore.

The company promises up to 3.6Mbps download speed, and a tiny, unobtrusive antenna; the card only sticks out just over 1cm when it's inserted.

The PC300 won't be available until the third quarter of this year.
