2 February 2007 11:20 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Scalextric impressed by the take up of its Drift set, Powerslide, that allows you to drift race in a figure of eight has announced that it is launching a new set called Street Pursuit.

In the new set, which is based on the company's classic 1:32 scale models will see racers being able to race between a Range Rover Police car, compete with flashing lights and siren, and a bright orange Lamborghini Gallardo.

Both cars are fitted with the 360 degree guide blades enabling fans to undertake corners sideways or do 360 spins and head off in the other direction.

The set will retail for £100 later in the year.
