For those of you bent over a keyboard and mouse all day, you could be at risk for repetitive strain injury.

The Mousetrapper Advance, which has just been launched in the UK, aims to change all that. It takes the place of your mouse and fits over your keyboard for a more ergonomic position.

The steering pad is integrated into a cushioned wrist support area attached to the keyboard. With it, normal mouse functions can be performed with your hands positioned over the Home Keys.

It fits both PC and Macs by plugging into a free USB socket. You then use your thumb to scroll using a scrolling bar and click the buttons just underneath.

Your regular mouse, meanwhile, sits in a connected cradle.

The makers of Mousetrapper claim that it minimises excessive wrist, upper arm, and shoulder movements.

It comes with a 1-year warranty and is available for £170.
