A new buy-as-you-listen radio station.

29 January 2007 0:00 GMT / By Ian Hughes

"If music be the food of love, play on..." so it says in Twelfth Night and we quite agree with old Bill the Bard. Life would be dull without it.

This new radio station, available on Freeview, Sky and online through this portal, offers listeners the opportunity to buy the music the station is playing as they're listening to it.

The playlist is fairly middle of the road - think Simon & Garfunkel rather than the latest from Slipknot - and prices for the featured albums are reasonable rather than rock-bottom, but it's a neat idea.

You can buy through the website, via SMS or, if you prefer, you can speak to the call centre. Be warned though - it's premium rate number.
