Taiwanese company Lite-On has launched what looks to be the fastest DVD writer in the market, the LH-20A1S.It writes at a blistering 20x on DVD+/-R, although it only manages 8x for DVD+RW and 6x for DVD-RW.
The device also apparently has a 1.5Gbps transfer rate, and although it's out in China already, it doesn't reach the UK until mid-February with a £32 pricetag.
Lite-On also has a £45 external DVD burner that reaches the same speeds as the internal drive, and features one touch recording.
