Fans of The Elder Scrolls will be glad to hear that there's a new expansion pack on the horizon – Shivering Isles for the IV edition of the game.

The official expansion pack for Oblivion will be released for the Xbox 360 this spring, with details of the game appearing in the Official Xbox Magazine's February issue.

It features another 30 hours of new game play in a new plane of Oblivion – the realm of Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness.

If you want to use your existing saved game or character, you can, or you can create a new character in order to explore Sheogorath's land.

Within the Realm of Sheogorath, you can explore the two sides of the god's madness, both the sublimely creative and the completely psychotic. Sheogorath is relying on you to be his champion and defend his realm.

The Shivering Isles is made up of Mania and Dementia, which are filled with dungeons like the roots of the tress that they're buried within.

You'll encounter new creatures, including insects, Flesh Atronachs, skeletal Shambles, and amphibious Grummites.

There will be both a Windows version of Shivering Isles, as well as an Xbox 360 version offered through Xbox Live.
