Belkin launch Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista

Copy files and setting across to your new PC

Belkin has launched a new USB cable that whilst not the most exciting thing in the world comes with a piece of softare that allows you to transfer files, photos, music and settings from your old PC to a new Vista computer easily.

Called the Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista (F5U258) users simply need to connect the cable to both computers via the USB ports, and run the built-in Windows Easy Transfer Wizard.

The interface lets users choose which items to copy or a “select all” function is available. The software copies files and settings like for like and eliminates tedious hours of manual data transfer and reorganising files and settings.

The Easy Transfer Cable from Belkin is also an ideal solution for mobile users to copy files from notebook computers to desktop computers or vice versa and offers transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps.
